I create experimental cyanotypes along the rivers and lakes of Northeastern Indiana and wherever my adventures take me. Cyanotype is a simple form of non-toxic photography that produces a deep blue. I create with the original 1846 recipe and natural elements: wind, water and most importantly, light.
My work is a meditation, a marking of time and place. I sit and watch reflections dance on the surface of the water as sunlight builds shapes on paper. This process is a celebration of life in the present.
